• Personal identification information: including full name, email address, phone number, and location when you create a candidate account or submit a job application.
• Professional information: including current role, years of experience, LinkedIn profile URL, portfolio URL, and resume file when applying for positions.
• Google account information: including your name and email address if you choose to sign in using Google OAuth. We access only your email and basic profile from Google. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google service.
• Usage data: including pages visited, time spent, and browser type collected automatically for analytics purposes.

Section 3 — How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process and manage your job applications.
• Create and maintain your candidate account.
• Allow HR administrators to review your application.
• Send application status updates.
• Improve our website and recruitment platform.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Section 4 — Google User Data

We access your Google account email address and display name only through Google OAuth sign-in. This data is used solely to create your candidate account and identify you on our recruitment portal. We do not use Google user data for advertising, marketing, or profiling. We do not share Google user data with any third parties. Google user data is stored securely in our database and retained only as long as your account is active.

Section 5 — Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is accessible only to SS International Group HR administrators for recruitment purposes. We may share data with Supabase (our database provider) and Vercel (our hosting provider) solely for operating the platform. Both providers maintain industry-standard security practices.

Section 6 — Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database with Row Level Security (RLS) policies. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Access to candidate data is restricted to authenticated administrators only. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorised access.

Section 7 — Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data and application records for 2 years after your last application submission. After 2 years, inactive data is permanently deleted. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing contact@ssingroup.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile, applications, and any uploaded documents including your resume.

Section 8 — Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@ssingroup.com.

Section 9 — Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies only for session management and authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Section 10 — Children's Privacy

Our platform is intended for professional use by adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
